i suspect it is the Kango Caves, near Oudtshoorn, in the Karoo (South Africa)
Just down the road from the Sterkfontein Caves, on a farm… huge limestone chamber – am I thinking of the right place?
Yep. Colin’s right.
It’s within the Lion and Rhino park as well. So it’s possible to visit the Sterkfontein caves and it’s museum, see lions and rhinos (along with other assorted beasties) and finally the Wonder Caves within a day.
