Wow, certainly was a read. I initially thought the article was exaggerating things a bit,most of the people I know either like the US but hate Bush or don’t particularly like the US, but don’t hate it either….and dislike Bush. I’m personally in the latter camp, there are some nice things, but it’s balanced out by the bad.
But if I think about it, the negative vibe towards the US is definately here. And it’s a funny thing to hear someone moan about the US’s capitalist blahdeeblah, imperialist yaddayadda & Bush yakkedyshmakkedy while noticing the fine FUBU/Reebok/Nike attire they’re wearing.
Of course pointing out this irony completely shuts them up, for a few minutes.
Here’s a hint, if you’re going to wax lyrical about how evil the US is, at least idolise Craig David rather than R Kelly & get some Addidas takkies.
It’s all about jealousity with USA’s sucess.
