Generic Oxymoron[ic] Racist Quote
Why am I finding this with more and more regularity on the Internet?
“I’m not a racist/don’t hate blacks/Jews/Americans/Muslims, but….”

What in particular prompts you to post about this now? Actually, don’t answer that, I know what you mean. Life’s too short to link to bigots.
ya Wayne and the other one, “some of my best friends are black/jewish/muslim/etc.” and you know exactly what’ll follow…... a tirade against that group as if having friends gives you the rights to be a bigot.
Yeah, this certain thread at certain forum has hit the bottom. I am now disgusted. I am not going to debate with those kind of people.
It’s not a reflection on people locally in real life I’ll admit. I think attitudes may actually be getting better there, but on the Internet it seems to be worsening.
I’m also getting the impression that many forums are becoming the calling cards of dregs that utter the above. Some good weblogs are in turn attracting trashy comments in the same vein.
Another generic racist quote I’ve also recently read (although not even as clearly worded): “Things were better under Apartheid. I’m not talking rubbish dude – my gardener told me so. He says he liked it better back then”.
Um… yeah.
