Bush and Kerry Both Strike Out
Only partisans could really be enamoured for either Bush or Kerry after the Wednesday night debate. There are no echoes of greatness or inspiration from either of them, regardless of how much media groups like to single out Bush specifically for abuse.
No Reaganite or Clintonite features shine through for them respectively. And as much as I have stated previously I don’t like Bush, I have little love for Kerry either.
Radley Balko sums pretty well several negatives of both just from the debate, and the irritating high pitch drone of supporters on both sides trying to spin the substance of the debate to their view.
But then, even the Economist noted that the vast majority of those undecideds present at the very debate stated afterwards they still hadn’t made their mind up who to vote for.
